From Loping Elk to Lazy Blue

Before reading the following post please take a minute to read previous post titled "Welcome to Loping Elk" to read about the inspiration behind starting my own guitar store and the man behind the man, Mr. Loping Elk....

Why the change? Well, sometimes you just gotta adjust to what life throws at you. The name and inspiration behind naming my company Loping Elk Guitars is and always will be near and dear to my heart, however, if the universe tells you to make a fresh start for your company, then you should probably name it after your dog. Lazy Blue Guitars is home to the undisputed king of laziness...Blue. Blue Stratton is by all measures the laziest Golden Retriever one will ever come across. Fetch? no. Go for a walk? nope. Go for a ride in the truck? Not gonna happen. Will he wake up to go to the beach, the park, the lake? Don't bet on it! Maybe if there are Hawaiian Rolls then and only then will he will think about it. What Blue lacks in energy and general interest in anything outside of bread he makes up for in awesomeness. He is the best family dog a guy could ever ask for (he better be I named the company after him). So, here's to new beginnings and Blue. Cheers!
